Jeanette Huck is this week’s Dalhousie University female athlete of the week. She led the Tigers to two wins on the road over the weekend, playing all 180 minutes and helping the team secure every goal.
On Saturday, the Tigers defeated UNB in a 2-1 victory and, on Sunday, claimed a 1-0 win over UdeM. Ms. Huck is a native of Halifax and is enrolled in the third year of Dalhousie’s commerce program.
Russell Christie is this week’s Dalhousie University male athlete of the week. On Saturday, the runner placed first in St FX’s Invitational Cross Country Meet with a time of 24:15. Originally from Petrolia, Ont., Mr. Christie is competing in his fourth year of eligibility and is enrolled in Dalhousie’s pharmacy program.
