Congratulations to David Precious (Dentistry) on his appointment to the Order of Canada. The announcement was made on February 21, 2007 by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Micha‘lle Jean, Governor General of Canada.
Dr. Precious, a well-known cleft lip and palate surgeon, is professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery and dean of the faculty of dentistry. He has led international charity dental missions for over 10 years.
The Order of Canada is Canada's highest honor for lifetime service in various fields of human endeavor.
