Host & Attend Recruitment Events

Throughout the year, Management Career Services organizes various recruitment initiatives and events. These are great opportunities for you to promote your organization and meet our students before your hiring process begins. Complement your recruiting strategy by participating in or hosting a targeted event on Dalhousie's campus.

Information Sessions

Target students by hosting an information session virtually or in our state-of-the-art Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building. Share insights about your business and career opportunities and recruit top talent — all at no cost to you! The majority of employers host information sessions in the months of September, October and January; however, this service is available to you year-round. Contact mcs@dal.ca to start the planning process.

Signature Recruitment Events

Management Career Services hosts exclusive events that attract employers from across the country to attend.

Dal Business Networking Night

Dal Business Networking Night (formerly Rowe Networking Night) brings together employers and recruiters from all industry sectors and students from all years of the Commerce Co-op, Management and Corporate Residency MBA programs for a lively evening of professional networking in early September. Our 2022 event welcomed over 450 students and employers on campus, giving 10 sponsor organizations premium brand exposure. Read the Dal News article for more insight and ask us how you can get involved in next year's event.

Co-op Summer Social

The Co-op Summer Social is an annual event hosted by Management Career Services. This event celebrates Bachelor of Commerce students returning to campus after completing their first-ever co-op work term. This is a great opportunity for employers who are looking to engage or reconnect with students embarking on their fall co-op job search. Participating organizations will have the opportunity to host an information booth in the Rowe Atrium and engage in a casual networking atmosphere that offers targeted brand exposure. Space is limited. Contact the MCS team to get involved.

Corporate Residency MBA recruitment at Dalhousie University begins with our Interview Week, held in early September each year. Participating in this exclusive event provides your organization with direct access to our pre-screened, high-calibre MBA students. For further details, click here.
