Funding & support

The School of Occupational Therapy is excited to announce a funding package of $12,000 over 2 years ($2000/term over 6 terms) to eligible full-time Master of Science -  Occupational Science students who have applied for outside funding. Dalhousie’s Harmonized Scholarship Funding would be considered as an option for outside funding.

The School of Occupational Therapy’s internal deadline for the Harmonized Scholarships is typically the beginning of January – students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Refer to for information regarding awards, scholarships and grants for the Master of Science - Occupational Science program.

We also encourage African Nova Scotians and Indigenous applicants  to explore these relevant funding opportunities available for full or part-time studies in research, course-based and professional masters degrees.  Please see funding information below and apply through the Harmonized Scholarship Process (link and due dates found in the pages below).

The Society for the Study of Occupation: USA (SSO:USA) is now accepting applications for the 2021 Student Research Grant! Please see the Request for Proposals and Flyer for details.
