Dr. Sean P. Barrett

Dr. Sean Barrett [BA (St.FX), PhD (McGill)] is a professor in the departments of Psychology & Neuroscience and Psychiatry at Dalhousie University, as well as a Registered Psychologist in the province of Nova Scotia.

Dr. Barrett's research is in the areas of addiction, polysubstance use, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, gambling, psychiatric comorbidity, and human psychopharmacology. Dr. Barrett’s research aims to elucidate how various pharmacological & non-pharmacological factors contribute to different addictive behaviours, as well as to determine the extent to which there are individual differences in these factors.
