Research

Overview

The research areas explored at Dr. Barrett's lab include alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, brain imaging, human psychopharmacology, and other topics in the field of addictions research. Dr. Barrett’s research aims to elucidate how various pharmacological & non-pharmacological factors contribute to different addictive behaviours, as well as to determine the extent to which there are individual differences in these factors. The lab is comprised of a dynamic research team of professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students.
