Graduation & beyond

Graduation is always a special time on campus. As family and friends of soon-to-be graduates, here are a few things you should know.

Our convocation website has all of the information students and their supporters will need before, during and after the ceremony including our graduate checklist, ceremony dates, information about invitations, degrees, framing, the webcast, and more.

Career support

Dalhousie graduates continue to have access to career services at the Bissett Student Success Centre, which includes resume and cover letter review and access to job search tools. Students can access services in person, by email or video chat.

Alumni can also still attend job fairs, career education sessions, and employer visits that happen on campus. Encourage them to check or bookmark their events page.

Dalhousie Alumni

Once your student graduates, they will become a member of our growing Dalhousie alumni community. Their interactions with alumni will grow too: with social and networking events around the world, volunteering opportunities as an alum, being a member of a global alumni network, and access to a range of benefits and discounts.
