Canada moves closer to criminalizing conversion therapy
The federal government has introduced new legislation that would criminalize LGBTQ+ conversion therapy in Canada. Dr. Jacqueline Gahagan is available to discuss what conversion therapy is, the harm it causes, the proposed amendments to Canada’s criminal code that would make conversion therapy illegal, and the significance of the legislation moving forward.
