Dalhousie University has an expert available to speak on a number of important topics related to National Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation Day on Friday, Sept. 30 and Treaty Day on Oct. 1, which marks the beginning of Mi’kmaq Heritage Month in Nova Scotia in October. Topics include Indigenous history, the work of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, intergenerational trauma, residential schools, and compensation for residential schools’ victims and survivors.
