Are protests effective?
On Monday October 7, Extinction Rebellion groups across Canada will stage protests to encourage policy and decision makers to take action on climate and ecological emergencies. In Halifax the group will block traffic from crossing the MacDonald Bridge; a main artery in and out of the city. Dr. Robert Huish is available to provide comment on whether protests of this nature in are valuable and effective in moving an organization’s mandate forward.
