Media Advisory: Dalhousie University welcomes Senator Don Oliver and Mr. Wade Dawe for special announcement

Media are invited as Dalhousie University welcomes special guests Senator Don Oliver and Mr. Wade Dawe, Chair and CEO of Numus Financial Inc., for an announcement on Tuesday, October 10, that will support our students as well as the university’s commitment to fostering a culture grounded in equity and inclusiveness.

Senator Oliver has dedicated his career and life to fighting racism and promoting equality. His work has earned him the Order of Canada, the Order of Nova Scotia, King’s Counsel honours and the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law’s 2023 Weldon Award for Unselfish Public Service.
