Friday, September 2, 2016 – Media are invited as Dalhousie University, along with partners Memorial University of Newfoundland, and the University of Prince Edward Island welcome Minister Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board, to Dalhousie’s campus on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 for a significant announcement relating to the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF).
Following the announcement, media will have the opportunity to view a demonstration showcasing ocean research with Dr. Julie LaRoche and students. Dr. LaRoche and the researchers in her lab are sampling coastal Nova Scotian waters, to learn more about food supplies for larval fish.
