As part of Dalhousie’s central Communications, Marketing and Creative services team, the team working in media relations shares Dalhousie’s stories, achievements and impacts with the world. We actively promote faculty research, student accomplishments and institutional priorities highlighting Dalhousie’s role as a global leader and Atlantic Canada's primary research-intensive university.

In responding to and reaching out to local, national and international media, the media relations team operates under the principles of transparencycredibilityreliability, and timeliness.  

Our team can connect you with one of Dalhousie’s 1100 faculty members and leading experts who are keen to talk about new and ground-breaking research and provide contextual perspective and expertise on emerging and topical news stories that matter. We also provide information and responses around a wide range of topics, including the university’s mission, processes, actions and priorities.
