Students registered in the program will be expected to obtain a minimum of four credits: two credits for the thesis and four half-credits for class work.
Three half-credits are obtained by taking required courses in Research Design and Biostatistics, Measurement and Instrumentation and a Graduate Seminar Series. A minimum of an additional half-credit elective will be selected based on the individual program of study approved by the Supervisory Committee.
It is expected that students can complete the coursework within the first year. An additional year is expected to complete the thesis. Part of the residency period may, with permission, include time off campus.
