The Dalhousie University School of Nursing, Laerdal Medical Canada and Wolters Kluwer Health invite you to a simulation workshop symposium.
This two-day event will include hands-on simulation sessions as well as informative discussions from leaders in academia, simulation education and industry. Topics will include:
- Inteprofessional Education and Professional Development - Kelly Lackie, Faculty/Interprofessional Education Lead - Capital District Health Authority
- Simulation Sustainability - Developing a Conceuptual Framework - John Gillespie, Educational Specialist, Laerdal Medical
- NCLEX Impact on Nursing Education 2015 - Jodi Orm, Director of Simulation Education and Assistant Professor of Nursing - Lake Superior State University
- NCSBN Study - Use of Simulation in Nursing Education - Sandra Devlin Cop, Professor in Nursing and Program Coordinator, Clinical Simulation - Humber Institute
During the course of the two days, there will be opportunities to network with leaders in simulation, experience simulation sessions first hand and gain insights into to the design and use of simulation technology.
