Biography

Rebecca is a Project Manager at the Canadian Center for Vaccinology, a collaboration of Dalhousie University, IWK Health Centre, and Nova Scotia Health Authority.   She holds a BA Honors degree in Psychology from University of Victoria and a MASc degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Waterloo. Rebecca has over 20 years research experience gained in the fields of medical education, nursing, and critical care.  She joined Dr. Parsons Leigh’s team full time in 2019 working on several now completed studies including improving transitions in care from the ICU, deadoption of low value care practices, and more recently, the sociocultural implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. With broad research interests in health services and education, Rebecca enjoys the opportunities her position presents to investigate current problems and identify viable solutions.
