Congrats to our Fall 2019 Grads!

Faye Teeuwen graduated with a Bachelor of Appled Computer Science degree.

On Tuesday, Oct 8th staff and faculty celebrated our newest graduates.

Levi Matus, Bachelor of Computer Science

Levi Matus graduates this week with a Bachelor of Computer Science. He is originally from #Texas and his advice for students would be to immerse yourself in what challenges you, and when it inevitably overwhelms you, go to your professors for help. He is currently employed as a Go Developer at Gracenote, where he previously worked as a co-op student. Levi has three loves in his life. His wife, Sasha; his daughter, Edith; and ice cream 👨‍👩‍👧 🍦 #DalGrad #BCS @dalalumni

Marlee Donnelly, Bachelor of Computer Science

"I'm really glad I decided to do co-op, in addition to making some extra money, it was a great opportunity to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. Working in an office is a completely different experience from working on projects in school, and getting to see that side of things ended up being really valuable for me. It challenged me to think differently and encouraged me not to take myself too seriously, especially if you don't have all the answers right away." 🎓 - Bachelor of Computer Science grad Marlee Donnelly #DalGrad @dalsitecoop @dalalumni

Chinenye Ndulue, Master of Computer Science

Chinenye Ndulue has graduated with a Master's in Computer Science. His research area was in the field of Human-Computer Interaction and Persuasive Technology, and for his thesis he developed a persuasive game, STD Pong. He has already begun his PHD in the same field, and plans to become a #HCI professor. In his spare time he plays games, writes rhymes and was once a part time comedian in his home country of #Nigeria. 🎮🕹 #DalGrad @dalalumni

During her Bachelor of Applied Computer Science degree, Faye Teeuwen did a co-op term working for games company @ijsfontein in Amsterdam and an international exchange at the University of Western Australia @universitywa. She found the opportunity to combine computer science and management throughout her program particularly interesting and will be using her skills in her new role as a business technology analyst for @deloittecanada in Halifax ✈️ 🇳🇱🦘🐨 📸 @fayeteeuwen @dalsitecoop @dalalumni #DalGrad #DalFCS #DalhousieU

Afsan Gujarati, Master of Electronic Commerce

During his time at Dalhousie, Master of Electronic Commerce graduate Afsan Gujarati spent his time working on Machine learning and Natural Language processing; specifically Authorship Attribution. Outside of his research his favorite moments were having lunch and hanging out with his lab mates. "Although we were all from different countries, it almost felt like having a family in there." He is now working as a Data Scientist at Introhive in Fredericton, New Brunswick. 🌎 #DalGrad @dalcsgs @dalalumni
