Matthew Thomas Walker is a multi-award winning theatre artist who joined the Fountain School faculty in 2018. He is also Co-Artistic Director for Litmus Theatre, a Toronto based theatre company that creates intimate and surprising site-specific shows. For Litmus, he has adapted and directed Matchbox Macbeth (Top 10 plays of 2010, NOW Magazine), directed and co-wrote Birth of Frankenstein (Dora Award for Best Direction, Dora Nomination for Best Script) and adapted and directed Brave New World (7 MyTheatre Award Nominations). Matthew has taught, directed and sat on panels for various educational institutions and theatre organizations throughout Canada. He is an alumnus of Dalhousie’s Acting Program (BA with Hons.) and York University (MFA in Theatre Performance).
