Research and Creative Activity
Dawn specializes in contemporary puppet theatre for adults. Her scholarly work can be found in The Routledge Companion to Puppetry and Material Performance, Canadian Theatre Review, and Puppetry International. She is currently working on a manuscript version of her dissertation, Puppet Life and the Phenomenology of Consciousness.
Dawn is also the Executive Director of The Halifax Humanities Society, a local non-profit that provides free university-level Humanities courses to adults living on low incomes in HRM.
