Featured guitarist and composer for full-length concerts with the Calgary Philharmonic, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and the Victoria Symphony. Featured guitarist and composer at the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival with Compania Azul, and multiple Atlantic Flamenco festivals with guest Spanish dancers from Spain.

Named one of Canada’s most versatile guitarists, Daniel MacNeil is a multiple award-winning guitarist, composer, and educator. He has performed across Canada and Spain as a soloist, in chamber music settings, and with professional symphony orchestras, including: the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic, the Victoria Symphony and Symphony Nova Scotia. In addition to his background in Western Classical music and improvisation, Daniel has specialized training in numerous international genres, including Flamenco, Spanish, Latin Jazz, Middle Eastern (Arabic and Turkish), Brazilian and Indian Classical (to name a few), and he is equally adept in New Music, Jazz, and regularly collaborates with professional dancers. Daniel is also recognized as an educator, winning multiple awards for teaching classical guitar competition winners. His recordings and compositions are regularly featured by the CBC and numerous festivals across Canada.
