Eighteen Agriculture students along with three instructors from Romblon State University (RSU) in the Philippines will take part in a Summer Enrichment Camp on campus June 8 – July 2, 2025.
The RSU students and instructors come from several disciplines - Agriculture, Fisheries and Biosystems Engineering - and will participate in training sessions led by Dalhousie faculty and staff during their month-long stay on Truro Campus.
They will also be visiting local industries and agri-businesses to get a well-rounded picture of the many dimensions of agriculture in Nova Scotia. They are excited to learn more about the university, community, province, and country and have opportunities to take in many local tourist attractions and celebrate Canada Day.
Don’t be shy, say “Mabuhay!” if you see them around!
