The Future of Food and Farming
In
celebration of Canada's Agriculture Day, Meet Your Farmer has partnered
with Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture and Halifax Public
Libraries to bring you a FREE event focused on the future of food and
farming in Nova Scotia.
We will be discussing:
- climate change and environmental impacts
- rising costs and inflation
- technology changes
- challenges and opportunities in farming
Doors open at 6PM. Refreshments will be served! There will be activities for children and youth. All are welcome!!
