Come with us and enjoy a visit to the Rodd Crowbush Cove Resort on the tranquil and scenic north shore of Prince Edward Island. This is the main cultural excursion for the International Vaccinium Symposium. The resort is a 30 minutedrive from the Convention Centre, and is renown for its golf course and white sand beach.

Departing the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre at approximately 5:30 p.m., the excursion will allow participants to experience the beautiful beach, shucked oysters, fresh seafood steamed in a seaweed pit on the sand, colorful and local entertainment, and various Vaccinium related food and beverages. Your evening will be wrapped up around a crackling bonfire and under a full moon. Suggested attire for the event is casual with provisions for a cool night and possible rain.

The golf course offers a par 72, 6903-yard British-links style experience. Other on-site activity amenities include an indoor pool, outdoor whirlpool, tennis courts, fitness centre, and Lakeside Beach (access from resort). Greenwich National Park is a leisurely 25-minute drive from the resort. Other area activities include deep sea fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, cycling, Rodd Spa Boutique and much more.
