France‑Canada Research Fund (FCRF)

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on September 14, 2020 in Research Funding

A call for proposals has been issued by the France Canada Research Fund (FCRF), for projects to be undertaken from 2021-23

The FCRF promotes and finances new research projects in all academic fields, jointly developed by French and Canadian teams that have never worked together before. As a special focus for 2021, however, the FCRF will reserve up to 5 grants for research projects related to the societal impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding is awarded to two-year projects in amounts ranging from $8,000 to $15,000. This funding is primarily intended to support the mobility of researchers and their students.

Full competition guidelines and the application form can be accessed here.

Any faculty member interested in submitting a proposal is asked to contact International Research & Development (ird@dal.ca) in the Office of Research Services for further information and support in preparing an application.
