Blue Innovation Symposium

The Blue Innovation Symposium is the premier event in New England for connecting the marine technology industry for education, networking and facilitating partnering opportunities. This conference brings together a broad spectrum of representatives of the marine technology industry from the US and beyond.

The next Symposium is being held on January 14-16, 2020, in Newport, Rhode Island.

Call for Presenters/Participation

The focus of this year’s symposium is sensors and there will be tracks related to defense, energy, research, and ocean monitoring.

You are invited to submit a proposal for participation in a panel or a full technical presentation. The deadline for submitting a proposal is November 20, 2019. Short proposals (Speaker, title and short synopsis) should be sent to Tiffany McClanaghan, Tiffany.Mcclanaghan@salve.edu.

FlashTalks

Innovative marine technology companies and organizations are invited to apply to deliver a Flash Talk. Attendees at the symposium will include leaders from global marine technology firms, key decision makers in defense and governmental organizations, and lead researchers from academic and industry research groups. 

If you are interested in delivering a 5-minute Flash Talk, please submit a paragraph summary of your presentation, along with your contact information and website, to Tiffany McClanaghan, Tiffany.Mcclanaghan@salve.edu. The deadline for submitting a proposal is November 27, 2019.  There is limited space for Flash Talk presentations.
