The following is a joint statement from the Dalhousie University Board of Governors and the Dalhousie Faculty Association.
The Dalhousie Board of Governors and the Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) have come to terms on a tentative collective agreement. The agreement is pending ratification by DFA membership and the Board of Governors.
We have jointly agreed to end the labour disruption. We know our community will have many questions about timelines. We will confirm the date classes are expected to resume later today (Tuesday). More information about fall term dates, fall break, deadlines, exam period, and other return-to-class protocols will be communicated as soon as possible.
Both parties offer our sincere thanks to the respective bargaining teams for their work in reaching this outcome.
