I've applied, what's next?

Now that you've submitted your application, there are a number of steps you can complete while you're waiting for your admission decision.

Follow the steps below

Step 1: Check your application status

We'll keep you updated on your application status through Dal Online, including any missing documentation or outstanding fees. Make sure to check back frequently to avoid missing any important deadlines.

Step 2: Plan your finances

It’s important to start planning how you will finance your education. When making your plan, consider both your educational costs and living expenses. Start planning now:

Step 3: Book a campus tour

If you’re in town, you may want to book a campus tour. We offer tours at our Halifax campuses and our Agricultural campus in Truro. Contact campus.tours@dal.ca for more information.

Step 4: Attend an information session

We host a variety of information sessions to get you ready to arrive on campus. You’ll have a chance to ask questions about living in Halifax, academics, residence, support services and anything else you’re wondering about. Check out our upcoming information sessions.

Step 5: Stay in touch

We'll share important dates and deadlines with you via the email you included on your application. Make sure you've listed admissions@dal.ca as a safe sender to avoid official communications ending up in your spam folder.
