"The Master of Engineering in Internetworking program at Dalhousie gave me the capability, expertise and credibility that I never envisioned before coming into the program. I thought I was taking the program to enhance my capabilities as a teacher to BA/BS-level students. However, within three years of graduating, I was working for Cisco Systems on projects I never would have dreamed of, let alone felt prepared to handle."

"None of us even knew what MPLS was then (in 1999), even the professors, but through encouragement (thank you, Srini!), exposure to industry people, the capabilities of the extensive lab, and the time demanded by the student project, I was able to come to a deep understanding of how the associated protocols worked. The program gave me the start I needed. Granted, some of this was my own dedication, but since I have seen the same process repeated by many Internetworking graduates, I know it is not unique to me. The program demands a lot of the student, but the dedicated student will receive more from it than he or she could ever imagine."
