Regional Maritime Security in Sub-Saharan Africa

A workshop on Maritime Aspects of Security in Sub-Saharan Africa was planned for Halifax in June 2003 but had to be cancelled at the last moment because of funding shortfalls. There is considerable need for study on this often-neglected area and future work is under consideration.
