All instructors report to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. Course syllabi are available upon request.
1. Work Assignment: INFO 6450 – Services & Resource for Children (W)
The sessional instructor will teach the elective Services & Resources (INFO 6450) in the Master of Information (MI) program during the 2020 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3-hour period per week, January – April 2020.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in services for children. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
2. Work Assignment: INFO 6750 – Health Sciences Literature & Information Sources (W)
The sessional instructor will teach the elective Health Sciences Literature & Information Sources course (INFO 6750) in the Master of Information (MI) program in the 2020 Winter term. The course is scheduled for one 3- hour period per week, January to April 2020.
Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant employment or research experience in health information management. Prior graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.
