Dalhousie Academic Detailing

The Dalhousie Academic Detailing Service is pleased to announce the next topic, COPD: An Evidence Update, is ready for detailing.  Participants will have the opportunity to discuss current evidence to guide prescribing and monitoring decisions with a focus on long-acting inhaled medications and explore considerations for inhaler device selection.  Detailing continues for the “Antibiotics Why and Why Not” topic whereby participants will have the opportunity to discuss antimicrobial treatment options for common community-acquired infections in adult and pediatric populations.

The Dalhousie Academic Detailing Service offers up to 1.0 MAINPRO+ credit per topic session, accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada certified by Dalhousie University Continuing Professional Development and Medical Education, both virtual and in-person visit optionsand it is free of charge to participate.
