Dalhousie Academic Detailing

The Dalhousie Academic Detailing Service is now detailing “Antibiotics: Why and Why Not” and has collaborated with local specialists in Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infectious Diseases in preparation for this topic.  During academic detailing sessions you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Identify best practices for the management of common community-acquired infections based on current evidence, local antimicrobial susceptibilities, and AMS principles.
• Discuss antimicrobial treatment options in adult and pediatric populations.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning Program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Dalhousie University Continuing Professional Development and Medical Education for up to 1.0 MAINPRO+ credits per session.
