Join College of Pharmacy Director Susan Mansour, Coordinator of Clinical Education Harriet Davies, and Associate Professor Dr. Kyle Wilby for a Dalhousie University College of Pharmacy Update and Preceptor Development Session on Health Equity and the 2SLGBTQ+ Integrated Pharmacy Curriculum
At the end of the session attendees will have:
- Briefly reviewed the updated entry to practice PharmD curriculum now offered at the Dalhousie University College of Pharmacy.
- Learned about the equity deserving community topics being integrated into the pharmacy curriculum throughout the College of Pharmacy entry to practice PharmD with a focus on the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
- Engaged in case studies to enhance learning and teaching as preceptors/pharmacists/pharmacy team members who support pharmacy students learning to navigate patient care and equity issues in our communities with a focus on supporting 2SLGBTQ+ patients seeking pharmacy care.
