Research interests
- Effects of different types of edges on animal dispersal.
- The spatial scale of habitat selection of animals - studied by fractal analysis of foraging paths and other types of spatial statistics. This is a combination of field biology and theoretical work, and I am currently working on mice, voles, marten and coyotes.Development of new techniques to analyse movement patterns.
- Statistical techniques used in radio-telemetry - author of the radio-telemetry computer program, Locate II., Locate III.
