All instructors are invited to attend this session on Providing Rich Feedback Online.

Brian Lesser, Manager of ETD, will provide background on the value of rich feedback, discuss how rich feedback can drive student success, tips for using some of the tools within Brightspace for providing rich feedback, and some suggestions for incorporating an iPad into your grading.

Professor Gefu Wang-Pruski will also be sharing her experience with providing online feedback for her large BIOA2000 class (75 students) during the Fall 2020 term, the tools she used to efficiently communicate with students, and lessons on how she may approach things differently in the future.

Note: special funding is available to provide iPads & digital pens to instructors to augment their teaching. This technology (iPad & digital pen) has potential to be applied in online teaching, but could also have value for face-to-face or hybrid teaching as well.
