If you are providing course readings for your students using Library Reserves, it is important that you consider the following information. All Library Reserve requests need to be completed using the online Reserve Materials Submission Form. Instructions can be found on the Course Reserves for Faculty page.
NOTE: Part-time Academics – You will not be able to complete the online reserve form until your NetID is active. In the meantime, please drop in to the Access Services desk at the Library to complete a paper request.
Library Reserves will allow you to make your course readings easily available to your students while respecting copyright requirements and Dalhousie licensing agreements.
Items not held by the Dalhousie Libraries may be ordered in. However, delivery time can range from 3 working days to several weeks depending on the source and types of material. So, please remember to submit your reserve requests as early as possible. Reserve items will be processed in the order in which requests are received.
