Michelle Richards joined the team at International as Administrative Assistant in 2009. She is an alum of the NSAC/Dal Biology Technology Program, and has a Diploma in Business Administration and Accounting. Michelle brings experience from a variety of previous positions, including Research Assistant, Office Manager and Purchasing Manager to her role at International.  As the International front-line support person, Michelle fields enquiries via email, phone and in person, directing to appropriate team members and when possible taking care of enquiries personally. Michelle provides support to all International team members, which involves a wide range of responsibilities, including travel arrangements, budget monitoring, secretary for committees, invoice preparation and payments to name a few. In addition, Michelle manages the International Guest House – Dal AC’s little home away from home that offers accommodations for short term visitors to our campus.
