Congratulations to Chris Hartt

Posted by Dept. of Business and Social Sciences on January 10, 2017 in News

Congratulations to Dr. Chris Hartt who, along with his co-investigators, have been awarded a $25,000 SSHRC  Knowledge Synthesis Grant for a project entitled How are the knowledge systems, experiences and aspirations of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples essential to building a successful shared future for all Canadians? The project is hosted in the Rowe School of Business with Dr. Albert James. Other co-investigators on the project include Julie Marcoux (Killam Library) and Shelley Price (St. FX University).

Albert brings to the project a background in family business/entrepreneurship.  This is complemented by the background of Chris in Indigenous culture and entrepreneurship. Development of the project idea was supported by an initial grant of $5,000 from the Faculty of Management.
