Dr. Beverly Butler

Dr. Beverly Butler, Ph.D., R.Psych. received an undergraduate degree from Acadia University (BSc) before continuing her education at Dalhousie University  where she earned a BSc (Hons Neuroscience) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Neuropsychology, under the supervision of Dr. Eskes.  Dr. Butler is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University and a Research Neuropsychologist with Capital Health. She is committed to researching the assessment of cognitive deficits in neurological and psychiatric disorders. Her research endeavor have included the creation of computerized battery for the assessment of attention, investigation of a variety of cognitive rehabilitation strategies for stroke survivors, and the treatment of cognitive dysfunction in first episode psychosis patients.
