Dalhousie faculty in any discipline may submit applications in support of their senior undergraduates, master’s and PhD students, or postdoctoral fellows.

Awards will be made to students in support of 12-24-week research project placements at universities in Canada and eligible France institutions. These awards provide $6,000 in funding for research costs, student stipend, and travel/living expenses. Incoming and outgoing applicants must secure a Dalhousie faculty member as their home/host supervisor prior to applying

Deadline: Ongoing

Other requirements: 3 interns maximum per project

Eligible institutions: All universities in France

Applications will be made by the Home Supervisor. However, applications will need to be reviewed and signed by ORS. Faculty members interested in hosting students through this program should contact amohan@mitacs.ca for information as soon as possible.

For general questions about the program, please contact the Programs team: international@mitacs.ca.

Please reach out to ORS as soon as possible to discuss a planned submission. Applications will require a minimum of five business days for review. Click here for guidance on internal deadlines and submission processes.
