Grand Challenges Canada Global Mental Health Program

Posted by Jaq-Lin Larder on November 15, 2021 in Research Funding

The program is seeking innovative and transformative approaches to enhance mental health literacy and/or provide youth-friendly services to address the needs of the most underserved 10 to 24 year-olds in low- and middle-income countries. Innovations must take a person-centered, rights-based approach and involve young people with lived experiences of mental health challenges at all stages of the project.

Successful proposals will be awarded seed grants of up to $250,000 CAD to develop and test the proposed innovation.

Applicants from Canada must implement their projects in an eligible country from the list provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP) available here.

Full details of this call are available here.
