Funding, News and Announcements

For researchers across all disciplines, ACENET is now offering funding to support conferences, seminars, speakers, training, and collaborations related to advanced research computing (ARC). 

Advanced research computing is essentially computing that is beyond the capabilities of a desktop or laptop, including computationally and/or data intensive, and large file storage and transfers. 

With $60,000 allocated between now and March 2017, typical allocations will be up to $5000, but may also include "in kind" requests for dedicated support time from ACENET Computational Research Consultants.

Individuals and collaborative groups, particularly multi-institutional and inter-provincial, are invited to make submissions.
