DFATD calls for proposals

Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has recently announced a number of open calls for proposals for international development projects, in a number of different countries. These include:

Improving maternal and newborn health in underserved areas in Tanzania
To fund projects over 3-5 years, valued at $8-12 million.
NOTE: Dalhousie is not eligible to submit a proposal as the lead/sole organization, but could participate in a consortium led by an eligible partner.

Deadline for proposal submissions: August 14, 2015.

Support for Child and Youth Protection Initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
To fund projects over 3-5 years, valued at $3-5 million.
NOTE: Dalhousie is not eligible to submit a proposal as the lead/sole organization, but could participate in a consortium led by an eligible partner.

Deadline for proposal submissions: October 22, 2015.

Women's Economic Empowerment in Egypt
To fund projects for up to 5 years, valued at $3-10 million.

Deadline for proposal submissions: October 21, 2015

Women's Economic Empowerment in Jordan
To fund projects for up to 5 years, valued at $3-10 million.

Deadline for proposal submissions: October 21, 2015

Women’s Economic Empowerment in Morocco
To fund projects for up to 5 years, valued at $3-10 million.

Deadline for proposal submissions: October 21, 2015
