ACENET will be conducting a series of four Basics seminars on Advanced Computing and how to use the ACENET systems geared to novice and newer users, along with five Focus seminars for those with some experience, or who have completed the Basics sessions.
The sessions will be available in-person at Dalhousie, St. FX and UNB. They will also be available by video-conference in our Collaboration Rooms located at Acadia, Saint Mary’s, Cape Breton University, Mount Allison, Memorial, UNB, St. FX and University of PEI. For these video sessions, participants may also access them from their personal computers via web stream, although this option will not offer the opportunity for questions and answers.
A schedule, descriptions of the sessions and registration is available on the training page of ACENET's website. In particular, those attending via video-conference or web stream need to register in advance to ensure that the appropriate set up is complete.
There is no charge for these sessions.
