Desktop Support


Information Technology Services (ITS) provides desktop support services to a number of units/departments on campus. These services are provided by individuals referred to as workgroup managers. Working in conjunction with the Help Desk and other ITS staff, these individuals can provide assistance with computer setup, software installation, troubleshooting, and general IT consulting. In some cases, workgroup managers are assigned to specific groups, in others they are assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

The primary method for requesting Desktop Support from ITS is through the ITS Desktop Support Ticket system.

Before submitting a ticket, you should check the Dalhousie System Status Page for any known issues.
