Faculty and staff
No charge for academic and administrative purposes, contact support@dal.ca to book.
Conference bookings receive a 50 per cent discount for equipment, contact Conference Services for more information.
Students
No charge for academic purposes. Some borrowing restrictions apply. Contact support@dal.ca to book.
Student Societies
Student societies ratified by the DSU may borrow equipment for non-academic events at no charge. Contact support@dal.ca to book.

Available Equipment List
- Windows laptops.
- Audio and video cables and adapters.
- Digital voice recorders for meetings and interviews.
- Record an event and save it to an SD card with our video cameras. Tripods are also available.
- If a room does not have a permanently-installed data projector, you can borrow one of our portable units.
- Project your image in an area without a permanently-installed screen with our 7' free-standing units.
- Laser pointer presentation remotes.
- Our Anchor P.A. system consists of a portable speaker and two wireless handheld microphones.
- The Meeting Owl Pro is an all-in-one videoconferencing solution integrating directional microphones, speakers and a 360-degree video camera.
- Use our webcam to connect via Teams with improved audio and video quality.
