Open Community Day

Open Community Day aims to brings together researchers and technicians working in the Aquatron face-to-face with the public. Live demonstrations, interactive exhibits, STEM activities, children’s activities, tours of the Aquatron, and more will be available for FREE. The day is designed to educate and excite the young and young at heart about ocean research and marine biology. We invite you to come and explore the Aquatron and how it plays an integral role in aquatic research at Dalhousie.

Date: Saturday, May 11, 2024

Time: 1 - 4 p.m.

Location: Atrium (2nd floor), Steele Ocean Science Building, 6375 Edzell Circle

Parking: Free street parking on parts of Oxford Street; Non-reserved parking spots in Dal-owned lots are free on weekends. Park in one of several lots near to the Steele Ocean Sciences Building.

Dalhousie Agricultural (Truro) Campus Community Day

Come visit us at our booth during Dalhousie’s Community Day at the Truro Campus in Bible Hill, NS. The Campus will be open to the community to celebrate all things agriculture. Find out about how the Aquatron is involved in agricultural research. We’ll have games and prizes and lots of swag to take home!
