Math

In a discipline that is highly relevant to all scientific fields and business professions, Dal Mathematics students are undeviating solution-finders who consider every angle to reach the root of complex problems. Specializing in actuarial and financial math or applied and computational math, Mathematics co-op students are a positive addition to settings including insurance agencies, research projects, tech firms, government offices, and private businesses.

Stats

Dal Statistics students are part of the largest group of statisticians in Maritime Canada, in a program that focuses strongly on applied research in environmental statistics, statistical genetics and bioinformatics. Statistics co-op students have the technical skills to gather and apply data to research, leading to informed decisions and objective conclusions.
