(PDF -  19 Mb)

During the summer of 1973, the writer was privileged to be employed by the Geological Survey of Canada, Terrain Sciences Division, under the supervision of Dr. J. Ross MacKay. The study was carried out in the writer’s spare time, in the Mackenzie Delta and Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula region N.W.T., (Fig. 1), where numerous sites were visited. The problem of relating variations in vegetation cover and soil types to different geomorphic terrains was realized, approached, and analyzed with some degree of successful achievement and understanding.
