Dal School of PT Curriculum Update

The Dal School of Physiotherapy held its first annual MScPT Curriculum Retreat this month. Faculty and student members met to discuss current trends and possible advancements in the School’s curriculum content and delivery, while aligning with accreditation standards, physiotherapy competencies and national curriculum guidelines. Preparing students for clinical placements and integrating practice education throughout the MScPT curriculum was also a focus. The school and committee are excited to ‘set the course’ for the next 5 years under the direction and leadership of our recently named director, Dr. Derek Rutherford.
