Joint Degree Programs

Transfer to Dalhousie to complete your degree

The Faculty of Computer Science offers joint degree programs in collaboration with several international partner universities. These programs provide you with the opportunity to obtain a degree from Dalhousie University and, in some cases, a degree from your home university as well. Check with your university advisor for more information.

In a joint degree program, you can study for two or three years at your home university, then transfer to Dalhousie to complete your degree.

With some programs, you can obtain two Bachelors degrees, and with others, a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree. Some also give you the opportunity to obtain industrial experience via four-month work placements in information technology companies.

Zhelun Wu graduated from a joint program in Computer Science between Dalhousie and Zhejiang University of Technology, China.

“Now that I’ve taken the 2 + 2 program, I know what areas I’m interested in. I don’t think if I had stayed in China I would have been interested in the same areas...I was a little scared at first, but in the end, it was one of the best decisions I ever made."
